2012 Strategic Alliance Announcement
BC’s two largest Chinese Medicine Associations, the TCMABC and the QATCMA have come together to further unification talks and create ONE VOICE for the Traditional Chinese Medical Professional Community. This alliance represents several years of negotiations coming to successful fruition and heralding a new era of communication and professional representation for BC’s vibrant TCM community.
Each board brings much experience and unique expertise to the table. The board officials will continue to work together to help create the map for the two associations to align our activities and keep open and honest communication foremost throughout this process. Both boards are working with an objective third party lawyer to help draw up the roadmap which will guide this strategic alliance to a clearer, brighter future for the Chinese Medical Community.
The TCMABC and the QATCMA have also agreed to share resources with each other, beginning with the exchange of our new Health Benefits Coverage Plans and new tiered Malpractice / E&O Insurance between associations. These benefit plans are now available to members of both associations. They will also organize professional seminars together in the future.

Membership fee of $120 (Normal Member with license) $30 (Student & Support Member without license) for year 2012 is now due to pay.

TCM Treatment Fundraising for Qinghai China Earthquake Disaster Victims
QATCMA is organizing a TCM Treatment Fundraising for Qinghai China Earthquake Disaster Victims on May 2, Sunday, 2010 together with Buddha Light International Association in Richmond. It is the vision and spirit behind the merger of the two largest TCM professional associations in BC to be of service to the entire TCM profession. This action sets up the fundamental structure of a professional body whose functions should be distinguished from those of CTCMA.
